Why your AI never pays, and why that is good
Buying a name costs money every year, so the last step is always yours. Your AI does the searching, compares names and prepares the purchase. Then it gives you a payment link. You open it, check the name and the price, and pay. Nothing is bought until you do.
That also means a mistake costs nothing: if your AI picks a name you don't like, you simply don't pay.
Connect your AI once
Add the DropTheHassle MCP server, https://dropthehassle.com/mcp, to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another tool that speaks MCP. The exact steps per tool are in the MCP guide. Searching for names works without an account. To get a payment link, your site has to be on your account: claim it first, then give your AI your account token from Connect your AI in the dashboard.

Buy a domain with your AI in 4 steps
- Connect your AI once. Add

Find me a free .com for my bakery site. Show me five options with the price.
Your AI checks them withsearch_domain. - Open the payment link. Pick a name and ask for the payment link. Open it, check the name and the price, and pay with your own click.
- Go live on the name. After you pay, your site goes live on the domain with HTTPS. There is no DNS to set up.
What it costs
- .com, .org or .net: €19 / $19 a year, including VAT in the EU.
- .nl or .eu: €12 / $12 a year, including VAT in the EU.
- .app: €25 / $25 a year, including VAT in the EU.

Common mistakes
