Can my site go live on a domain without touching DNS?
Yes, if you buy the name here: a .com at €19 / $19 a year, including VAT in the EU, the same every year, goes live on your site with no DNS edit. A domain you already own elsewhere needs one A record, set to the address shown on your screen. Press Check now and HTTPS follows.
Your AI can publish. It can never spend your money.

Two cases: buy here, or bring your own
- Buy the name here. We register it and connect it to your site. You never open a DNS screen.
- Bring a domain you already own. Keep it where you bought it and add one A record there. That's the only setting.
Buy here in 4 steps
- Publish and claim your site. Drop the folder with your index.html on dropthehassle.com. It goes live on a free HTTPS link. Claim it to keep it.
- Find a free name. Type it in the domain name checker, or ask your AI. See buy a domain with your AI.
- Pay for it. Pay with your own click, or open the payment link your AI gives you. A .com is €19 / $19 a year, including VAT in the EU, the same every year.
- Go live on it. Your site goes live on the domain with HTTPS. No DNS, no waiting for you to copy records.
Already own a domain? One A record
An A record is one line in your domain's settings that says which server your site lives on. You set it once, at the company where you bought the domain:
- Choose to use your own domain on your site, and note the address shown on your screen.
- At the company where you bought the domain, add an A record for the name, pointing at that address.
- Press Check now. When the record is found, HTTPS follows by itself.
Your nameservers stay where they are, so email that already runs on that domain keeps working. Pointing your own domain does not charge.
Email on the domain
A name bought here can also get a mailbox that sends and receives, such as info@yourdomain.com, for €5 / $5 a month, including VAT in the EU. It's optional and separate from the domain.
Common mistakes
- Adding a CNAME where an A record is needed, or pointing at the wrong address. Use the address on your screen.
- Leaving an old A or AAAA record for the same name. Remove the old ones.
- A domain behind a proxy (an orange cloud at some DNS providers). Switch that record to DNS only.
- Buying a name before your site is claimed. Claim it first, then buy.

Questions
Can I connect a domain without changing DNS?
Yes, if you buy it here. Your site goes live on a name bought here with HTTPS and no DNS edit.
What if I already own the domain?
Keep it where you bought it and add one A record, set to the address shown on your screen. Press Check now and HTTPS follows.
How much does a .com cost?
€19 / $19 a year, including VAT in the EU, the same every year you renew.

Can my AI do this for me?
It can find a free name and hand you a payment link, but it never pays. You pay with your own click.
