How do I get my site online?

Put it online in 4 steps
- Find the built folder. It's the folder with
index.htmlin it. If your project has a build step, runnpm run buildfirst and usedist(orbuildorout). - Open dropthehassle.com and press Upload (free). You don't sign in first.
- Drop the folder. Before you claim the site it can be up to 25 MB and 1,000 files. Give your email when the page asks, right after the drop.
- Open your link and claim it. Your site is live at
https://yourname.dropthehassle.app. Claim it on the same screen to keep it: an unclaimed site is removed after at least 7 days.

Why can't my friends open my localhost link?
localhost is your own computer, so only you can open it. Put the built folder on DropTheHassle and send the yourname.dropthehassle.app link instead. It keeps working when your laptop is off.
Can my AI put my site online for me?

. It can publish and give you a payment link, but it can never spend your money.
How do I get my own .com?
Search the name on dropthehassle.com. A .com is €19 a year (incl. VAT in the EU), $19 elsewhere, the same every year, and a name bought here needs no DNS setup. A domain you already own needs one A record.
Does it work with a React or Vite app?
Yes. Run npm run build and drop the dist folder. Single-page apps work: an address that is not a file serves your index.html with a 200.
My app has a server part. Can it go online too?
